American-made furniture stands for quality

Quality

How often do we buy things today that used to be durable goods but are now considered disposable?

Our grandparents and great-grandparents didn't have to replace what they bought so often because it was made to last --- in America.

It's getting harder and harder to find anything made in America these days, but when you do you can depend on its quality.

Furniture is no exception.  Many great brands we used to love and trust are now made overseas.  It's simply a cheaper way of doing business today.  You know cheaper isn't always better, and in the case of furniture the old axiom is still very true:  You get what you pay for.  American-made furniture is still the best.

You get a commitment to quality that is unparralled in the world.  Good furniture is an investment.  American-made furniture is a good investment.

Environment

You also get a commitment to protect the environment that doesn't exist in most other places on earth.

Most of our American-made furniture is made with hardwood harvested in the USA.  It is harvested using sustainable forestry practices that meet strict US guidelines.  Likewise, American manufacturing is subject to strict environmental rules that other countries do not have or do not enforce.

Craftsmanship

Fine furniture is as much an art as it is manufacturing.  You can tell the difference in a well-crafted piece of furniture every time you open a drawer.

American furniture craftsmen are world-renowned.  Many have spent their lives honing their skills, often those passed down from elders.  They possess a special knowledge and skill we can't afford to lose, and should never undervalue.

Jobs

Here in the South, just like much of the USA, we've seen what happens when our manufacturing is shipped overseas.  Many small towns simply dry up.

In good times, that's hard.  In tough times, it's devastating.

We live in a small town and we understand the unique value that small towns hold to our way of life in this country.   We're proud to support communities just like ours.

When given a choice of better quality, better craftsmanship, and a better environment, it makes it even easier to keep our jobs here and our small towns working.
